Breaking Chains, Burning Rubber
Join Behavioral Health in a motorcycle ride to promote recovery from drug-affiliated afflictions and to promote non-drug-using behavior. Marines, sailors, and families are invited to the sea wall to join the riders in writing positive messages about drug recovery and drug abstinence on the sea wall running route in chalk, as well as the names of Marines and Sailors who have died in motorcycle and drug-related accidents this year.
Participants must present a valid SOFA license or Japanese driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement upon registration. Authorized Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) gear is mandatory, including an approved helmet, gloves, jacket, long pants, and over-the-ankle boots.
*Mandatory safety brief is at 10:30 AM; ride starts at 11 AM.
