Volunteer with the Neighborhood Food Pantry

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back and support families in our community? The Neighborhood Food Pantry - Camp Butler is seeking dedicated volunteers to help strengthen pantry operations, expand community outreach, and ensure nutritious food reaches those who need it most.

Whether you have a talent for organization, community engagement, financial management, or shopping for fresh produce, there is a place for you on our team. These volunteer leadership and support positions offer an opportunity to make a lasting impact while developing valuable skills and building connections throughout the community.

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

• Administrative Coordinator Help keep the pantry running smoothly by supporting communications, maintaining records, managing correspondence, coordinating materials, and assisting with administrative tasks that support daily operations.
• Co-Treasurer Assist with managing the pantry's finances, tracking donations and grants, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the pantry's long-term sustainability.
• Community Engagement Coordinator Serve as an ambassador for the pantry by building partnerships, attending community events, conducting presentations, connecting families with resources, and helping raise awareness of the pantry's mission.
• Produce Shopper Support healthy food access by purchasing fresh local produce, managing the produce budget, and delivering fruits and vegetables to the pantry for weekly distribution.

Every volunteer plays an essential role in helping the Neighborhood Food Pantry continue its mission of serving military families and community members experiencing food insecurity.
