ELITUS Basketball Academy
Take your basketball skills to the next level with the ELITUS Basketball Academy, a supplemental youth basketball training program presented by MCCS Okinawa Semper Fit in partnership with ELITUS Basketball Academy. Beginning October 5, 2026, the Academy offers specialized skills development sessions at the Camp Foster Field House for young athletes looking to improve their fundamentals, basketball IQ, and competitive mindset.
Designed to complement the MCCS Youth Sports basketball season, Academy sessions are scheduled so participants can attend both their team practices and ELITUS training. Participation is optional and independent of Youth Sports registration, making it an excellent opportunity for players of all experience levels to receive additional instruction and individualized skill development.
Training is delivered by ELITUS coaches following the curriculum developed by Jo Kurino, a former NCAA player, 15-year professional athlete, and current coach in Japan's B.League. Since its founding in 2011, ELITUS Basketball Academy has helped more than 25,000 youth athletes develop their game, with multiple alumni advancing to collegiate and professional basketball careers.
