K-Bay Lanes Is Leveling Up: New Scoring System Coming Soon
K-Bay Lanes, the only bowling alley on the Windward side of Oahu, is upgrading its scoring and entertainment system. Beginning November 2, 2026, the facility will start installing the new BES NV scoring system by QubicaAMF, bringing modern technology, interactive features and more ways to play to the lanes.

The installation is expected to take approximately two weeks. During this time, K-Bay Lanes will remain partially operational, although bowling availability may be limited as work progresses. Strikers Grill and Tap’s lunch shift will continue as scheduled.

The Next Chapter for K-Bay Lanes
The new BES NV system is designed to make every visit more interactive, with updated scoring technology and a wider selection of games for casual bowlers, families and competitive players.

Here’s what’s coming:

  • 50-inch overhead monitors: See your scores and game action on larger overhead displays.
  • 15-inch iPad touchscreens: Navigate the scoring system and explore available game options directly from your lane.
  • Ball speed sensors: Track ball speed for another level of insight into your performance.
  • More games to choose from: Explore additional game modes, including classic bowling variations, skill-based challenges and head-to-head competition.

This upgrade marks an exciting step forward for K-Bay Lanes and the local bowling community. With updated technology, larger displays and additional interactive games, the new scoring system will offer more ways to play and compete.

Thank you for your continued support as we bring these enhancements to the lanes. We look forward to welcoming bowlers to the upgraded K-Bay Lanes experience.
