Marine Athlete of the Year

Camp Pendleton is seeking nominations for the Male and Female Marine Athlete Of The Year.
Athletes of any level, from recreational to international, are eligible to apply. All accomplishments
must have taken place during the calendar year 2026.

The male and female winners of the Camp Pendleton Athlete of the Year will receive the following:

• Prestigious Trophy: The winners will be presented with a prestigious trophy by the Commanding General of MCI West, MCB Camp Pendleton.
• Consideration for Marine Corps Athlete of the Year award: The winners' applications will be sent to HQMC for consideration for the Marine Corps Male and Female Athlete of the Year award.
• Feature Article: The winners may have the opportunity to be featured in an article to be published on DVIDS (Defense Visual Information Distribution Service).

The winner of the Marine Corps Male and Female Athlete of the Year athletes will receive:

• A prestigious trophy presented by the Commandant of the Marine Corps
• Navy Achievement Medal for Enlisted Marines
• Certificate of Commendation for Officers
• May receive a feature article to be published on DVIDS
• Runners-up may receive a Letter of Appreciation for their impact and effort in sport

Deadline to submit application is December 11, 2026.
