CFS Training

The Command Financial Specialist (CFS) initial training course is a 3-day, 24-hour class that prepares unit representatives to function as the first line of defense through financial education, coaching and information and referral at the unit level. This class provides basic tools, techniques, and information to be able to build and maintain a supportive financial program within their units and work together with Personal Financial Management Specialists (PFMs) to ensure financial readiness across service members and their families. Training provided is governed by OPNAVINST 1740.5B (Navy) and MCO 1700.37 (USMC).
